Biography

Soojai Lee is a Korean artist from Seoul, Korea.

Her work is in the permanent collections of The
Museum of Modern Art and The Seoul City Museum in Korea.

Ms. Lee's paintings were chosen to be shown at the Tenth Sao Paulo Biennial in Brazil, The Guild Gallery in
New York, and The Korean Contemporary Art Exhibition in Nepal, to name a few.

She taught painting at Ewha
Woman's University in Seoul.

Ms. Lee holds a BA from Ewha and went on to receive a scholarship from
The Institute of International Education to attend graduate school at The Unversity of Colorado at Boulder where she earned her MA.

Notable solo exhibitions: Obelisk Gallery, Washington, D.C.; Vincent Price Gallery,
Chicago, IL; Americana Gallery, Skokie Public Library, IL; Hyundai Gallery, Sun Gallery, Gallery 6.3, Ewha Woman's University College of Art Museum, Seoul, Korea.

Prizes awarded include: The
Minister of Education, Korean Art Association Exhibition and Best Young Artist Prize from The Republic of Korea and First Prize in water color painting, Canyon City, Colorado.
